Privacy Policy — RBR Connect

RBR Connect ("the App", "we", "us") is a Human Resource Management System used by RBR and its authorised branches to manage employee attendance, payroll and HR operations. This policy explains what information the App collects, why, and how it is protected. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Profile details: name, phone number, home address.
• Identity documents: Aadhaar / PAN number and a photo of the ID, used to verify employees at the time of hiring.
• Profile photo.
• Face image (biometric): captured during punch in / punch out only to confirm that the correct employee is marking attendance.
• Location (GPS): captured only at the moment of punch in / punch out to confirm the employee is at their assigned work branch (geofence). We do not track location in the background.
• Attendance & work data: punch in/out times, worked hours, leave, and salary records.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To verify identity and mark attendance accurately.
• To calculate working hours, overtime, leave and salary.
• To let managers, HR and owners manage their teams.
• To send in-app notifications related to work (approvals, payments, leave status).

3. Biometric & Location Data

Face images and GPS location are used solely for attendance verification at the moment of punch in / punch out. Location is never collected in the background. This data is used internally by your employer and is not sold or shared for advertising.

4. How Data Is Stored & Protected

Data is stored securely on Supabase (cloud servers) with encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, so that each user can only see the data permitted for their role.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data is visible only to authorised staff within your organisation (managers, HR, owner) as required to run HR operations. We use trusted service providers (Supabase for data, Google Firebase for notifications) that process data on our behalf.

6. Data Retention

Employment and attendance records are retained while you are employed and for the period required by the employer's record-keeping and legal obligations. You may request correction or deletion by contacting us (subject to legal retention requirements).

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting your HR/admin or us at the email below.

8. Children

The App is intended for employees and is not directed at anyone under 18.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this page.
